Residents' Rights Week

"Opening the Door: A resident's right to visitation."
October 7 - 13, 2001

Residents’ Rights Week is designated by the National Citizens’ Coalition for Nursing Home Reform (NCCNHR) each year to honor residents living in all long-term care facilities. Here at NCCNHR, all staff (including secretaries, support staff, etc.) will be given the opportunity to visit facility residents as part of their work during that week.

Read more about the history of Residents' Rights Week.

See the introduction; table of contents; and dedication to this year's residents' rights packet; order a packet on line; view an educational poster; print out a consumer information sheet; and find other resources such as books, manuals and videos.
