Project Description:
Worked with the Medicaid Agency
to match Federal Dollars to State Dollars. We
used administrative dollars and matched at 50/50. We received $600,000
additional dollars in the program.
Project Impact:
There are 17 full-time ombudsmen working in the program and instead of annual
visits, they are making quarterly visits to facilities and some are making
weekly visits.
We are also increasing our
volunteer program.
