Article on Ombudsmen Published in Nursing Spectrum Magazine
May 9, 2003. Nursing Spectrum Magazine has recently published a series
of articles written by Wendy Bonifazi, RN titled "Ombudsmen: Elder
Advocates Are Allies for Care." Ms Bonifazi, who was once a volunteer
ombudsman, has done an excellent job of describing the Ombudsman program and
encouraging individuals with a nursing background to consider volunteering or
partnering with Ombudsman Programs. She interviewed several ombudsmen across the
country and then wrote region specific articles for Nursing Spectrum.
