The Residents' Voice

NCCNHR is excited to share a new feature of Residents' Rights Week – the Residents' Voice. The Residents' Voice is an opportunity for residents from facilities across the country to share their ideas about this year's theme, "Recipe for Home: Defining and Creating Home in Long-Term Care Facilities" with other residents, families, ombudsmen, community members and nursing home staff.

We had more than 50 entries this year from residents all over the country that range from scrapbook pages to poetry. Take a minute and get insight on what "home" means to the residents. The resident entries will energize you and help you to promote the Resident's Right to have their voice heard.

Return to Residents' Rights Week 2008.
