Project Description: 

After working for a couple of years with several partners agencies (including the states QIO, AARP, the Alzheimer's Assoc., two provider organizations, and representatives from regulatory agencies as well as the academic community) we had our first strategic conference in culture change. Several nationally known speakers presented to the standing room only crowd.

Project Impact:

Expanded awareness/understanding of culture change and resident-directed care among providers and advocates alike, and, hopefully, generated some enthusiasm/momentum for culture change initiatives. We also hope it helps broaden the network of change agents.
