Announcing Poster Contest Winner

Residents' Rights Week Poster Contest
This year, for the first time, NCCNHR held a Residents' Rights Week Poster Contest.  The entry deadline was August 1, 2005.  The rules of the contest and the roster of judges are available for those interested.

A winner was announced by NCCNHR in a press release on September 15, 2005.  The winning entry was submitted by Southland Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama.  The original piece depicts "Choice-Ville" and was created using oil on canvas. A one page description submitted by residents and staff of Southland Nursing Home accompanies the poster and describes its creative design process and special features.

On this page you can find the winning entry and the two runner ups together with their submission letters explaining how each poster was developed.
