OMBUDSMAN BEST PRACTICES:

Enhancing Consumer Access through Coordination

Focus: Ombudsman and Aging I&R/A Programs

This paper, prepared by NASUA in January 2004, focuses on how access to the ombudsman program can be enhanced through establishing relationships with I&R/A programs. The paper also builds on previous recommendations developed by NASUA for educating I&R/A programs about the ombudsman program and for strengthening communication and referral coordination between the two programs.
