Project Description:

In 2005, the State Ombudsman developed and issued a statewide RFP packet for designation of regional ombudsman programs. The packet included a standardized application, instructions, solicitation requirements, and a score sheet.
Project Impact:
By administering a standardized RFP, the independence of the program heightened and ensured that all eligible applicants were reviewed by the Office of State Long Term Care Ombudsman and by the appropriate Area Agency on Aging.
