Falsehoods Falsehoods
15 Falsehoods Told By Nursing Facilities
On March 18 and March 24, 2004, the Ombudsman Resource Center hosted 2 teleconference trainings for long-term care ombudsmen on 15 Falsehoods Told By Nursing Facilities, developed by Eric Carlson with the National Senior Citizens Law Center, Los Angeles, CA. The falsehoods include, among others, misrepresentations related to transfer/discharge, bed hold, responsible party, and payment for therapy.
